The National Heritage Science Forum (NHSF) [Alliance member] is seeking a Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees.

The Forum is looking for a Treasurer with a financial background to join the Board of Trustees as part of a transition to a smaller Board focussed on strategic direction, public benefit, compliance and continuing financial stability.

The NHSF is a registered charity and membership organisation. It brings together academic, heritage, professional and commercial organisations that produce or use heritage science research. The Forum works through its members to:
• Improve collaboration across the heritage science community;
• Demonstrate the public benefit of heritage science, and;
• Help practice make better use of research.

In 2018 NHSF led work to develop a new strategic framework for Heritage Science in the UK and it is now embarking on a programme of work to secure engagement with the framework and coordinate its delivery.
