This week, Chair of the Heritage Alliance, Peter Ainsworth with CEO of the Heritage Alliance, Lizzie Glithero-West met with Ecclesiastical Group CEO, Mark Hews with their Heritage Director, Faith Kitchen to discuss the ongoing relationship between Ecclesiastical Insurance and the Heritage Alliance.
The Alliance is very grateful to Ecclesiastical for sponsoring both Heritage Day and our annual Heritage Debate. Both events bring real value to the Alliance and our members, as well as to the wider heritage sector, providing spaces in which best practice, advice and support can be shared amongst organisations across the sector.
Ecclesiastical Heritage have been insuring heritage organisations over the past 130 years. They have developed specialist market knowledge and honed their expertise to share best practice and guidance on how to manage risks in the sector. The Group conducts research responding to concerns from the heritage sector about upcoming changes to the risk landscape, and provides insights on how best to manage those risks. They recently produced a Health and Safety Toolkit ‘Slips and Trips’ for keeping people safe in churches.
