National Trust – Contractor for Conservation Management Plan: Osterley Park and House

Editor News, Vacancies

Expressions of interest are sought by the National Trust for a contractor to prepare a Conservation Management Plan for Osterley Park and House, Middlesex.

The site includes nine listed structures (5 at Grade I), a significant collection and a Grade II* Park and Garden. The aim of the Plan is to help understand the significance of the heritage asset, inform its future management and to inspire discussions on how we might reach the full potential of this important estate and all its elements.

The Consultant should provide a project design in response to the NT’s brief, setting out how the plan will be approached, the method of working and any matters not covered by the brief. The Lead Consultant should be an experienced project manager with a proven track record in producing effective conservation management plans. If subcontractors are to be used and have already been identified their experience and knowledge must be included in the tender document.

Further details and a copy of the brief can be obtained by emailing Osterley’s Business Support at Jennifer.spittle@nationaltrust.org.uk, tel. 02082325053.

The closing date for submissions is Monday 29th July with interviews expected to take place the first week in August.
