Landscape Review: National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty

On the 16 July, the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs released the interim findings of the landscapes review. The Landscape review considers the next steps for National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty sites (AONBs) in England in response to the Government’s 25-year Environment Plan. The findings indicate a lack of tools, funding and direction for protected landscapes.
