Tender return date: 4pm on Friday 14 June 2019

Interviews: w/c 24 June 2019

Chelsea Physic Garden (CPG) [Alliance member] has been awarded Development Funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) towards the restoration of its range of historic teak and cast- iron glasshouses. As a key part of the Project’s Development Phase, CPG wishes to procure the services of a suitably experienced and skilled consultant to develop an Interpretation & Digital (I&D) Masterplan that capitalises on the many opportunities of the NLHF-supported Glasshouse Restoration Project.

Founded in 1673 by The Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London, CPG is a Grade 1 listed botanic Garden, dedicated to teaching and discovery. The I&D Masterplan will respond to the needs of both current visitors and new audiences by bringing stories to life – promoting greater understanding of the medicinal and cultural uses of plants, growing closer connections between people and the power of plants.

Work will commence at the end of June 2019 and be completed around April 2020.
