Heritage Digital – Free Digital Skills Training for the Sector Launches

Editor News

The Heritage Alliance is delighted to launch the National Lottery Heritage Funded Heritage Digital project alongside skills specialists Media TrustCharity Digital and Naomi Korn Associates. Until the end of July 2021, free digital skills training will be available as part of this partnership project, based around the themes of digital communications, digital marketing strategy, digital rights and digital technology. Webinars, digital guides and in-depth masterclasses will be available, alongside peer networking opportunities and both virtual and face-to-face conference days (the latter coming in 2021). Staff, volunteers, Trustees and freelancers associated with heritage organisations across the UK are eligible to take part.

Beginning in July, the first Heritage Digital webinars will cover How to Grow Your Audience Online (14th July), and How to Use Data and Analytics to Evidence Impact (21st July); two vitally important skills for the sector that have become even more pressing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following on in September will be webinars on digital rights and digital marketing strategy.
