Location: Flexible UK wide / Home based/remote working from anywhere in the UK, or based in one of our offices outside of London
Reporting to: Director of Strategy & Innovation
Responsible for: No direct line management
Range:  Range 6
Salary:   £53,500 to £62,000

The Strategy and Innovation team drives forward the Fund’s strategy, leads and collaborates on horizon scanning and research into the key opportunities and challenges for the UK’s heritage, and champions innovation to foster an open, enterprising and forward looking approach in our own business and in the organisations we support.

You will lead the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Strategy function. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Innovation, and working closely with the Executive Team, you will be responsible for driving forward strategy development for the organisation’s Corporate Strategy and National Lottery Strategic Funding Framework. You will contribute to corporate planning, ensuring that annual Business Plans take account of the organisational implications of strategic change and are aligned with long-term strategy.

You will provide high-level guidance and recommendations to decision makers (primarily the Board and Executive Team, and lead on strategic planning activity, including the development of new strategic positioning and emphases, stakeholder consultation, and internal engagement with the strategic planning process.

You will support the Chief Executive in corporate initiatives needed to support the Corporate Strategy and its effective implementation.
