Government Releases No Deal Brexit Preparedness Guidance

Editor News

As 31 October (the date on which the Government has said it will leave the EU) approaches, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has set out his proposals for a deal with the EU. This comes with further guidance from Government on Brexit preparedness in the event of a no-deal Brexit, set out in its No-Deal Readiness Report.

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has released more robust guidance to prepare individuals and organisations for changes in the event of a no-deal Brexit. This includes separate pages for arts and heritage and the creative industries. Follow the links below to see this new guidance.

Guidance on exit from the EU has been published by organisations across the cultural and heritage sectors, including the Arts Council England EU Exit Guide.

Information about Brexit for the heritage sector is set out in the Heritage Alliance Brexit and Heritage Briefing. We are calling on our members to keep sending evidence through as we update this paper and our Immigration Brexit Briefing in advance of the end of the month. Alliance members can share their thoughts with Daniella Briscoe-Peaple at comms@theheritagealliance.org.uk.
