The Government is asking for evidence that can be considered in an independent review into Highly Protected Marine Areas (HPMAs). In particular, they want views and evidence on:
- what the aims, opportunities and challenges would be;
- how sites could be selected;
- how they could be managed and monitored;
- past experiences of designating Marine Protected Areas.
The consultation is open until 31 October 2019.
