Historic Environment Forum

Lucy is the Historic Environment Forum Manager. The Historic Environment Forum (HEF) brings together senior members of public and non-government bodies to work collaboratively on strategic matters for the historic environment sector.

Lucy’s experience includes project development and coordination focussed on museums/ libraries public engagement. She most recently delivered a government-funded social history reminiscence project across thirty regional library services. She previously worked as a Parliamentary Researcher with a particular focus on environmental and cultural heritage casework. Lucy holds an MSc Environment, Heritage and Policy from the University of Stirling. She originally trained as a sociologist. Lucy is motivated by work that enhances public benefit from heritage, hence her role at the HEF – a forum which brings together senior members of public and non-government bodies to work collaboratively on strategic matters for the historic environment sector.
