“We’re Good to Go” Links With “Safe Travels”

VisitBritain has now linked it’s “We’re Good to Go” consumer confidence scheme with the World Travel & Tourism Council’s international “Safe Travels” scheme.  Businesses that will or have already signed up to be Good To Go can update their application to include the Safe Travels stamp from the WTTC.

Global Travel Taskforce

The Transport Secretary held the first meeting of the new Global Travel Taskforce last week. The Taskforce has been asked to, among other things, consider policy proposals to set out a possible pathway to safely reopen international travel, taking account of scientific and clinical data, alongside the government’s Roadmap. The taskforce will report to the Prime Minister on 12 April with an implementation plan to follow.

Social Impacts

Results from the ONS social impacts survey for the period 24 to 28 February 2021 indicates that levels of optimism, personal well-being and life satisfaction all increased from the previous week’s results.
