Vacancy: Transforming Places Programme Officer
Salary: £33,000-£35,000 per year

The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) [Alliance member] is currently seeking to appoint four Programme Officers to support the delivery of its Transforming Places through Heritage programme. The AHF is about to embark on a number of new initiatives, including the ‘Transforming Places through Heritage’ programme, designed to help revitalise high streets and town centres through the development of sustainable new uses for historic buildings.
The Programme Officers will assess grant applications and help manage a caseload of projects within a defined geographic portfolio, provide advice and guidance to individual projects and liaise with external partners to achieve common objectives in addressing the Transforming Places Programme’s priorities.
The post holder will act as the lead regional contact with staff at Historic England, local authorities and other partner organisations to target support, ensuring the AHF intervention adds value to partners’ activities and other relevant programmes.
