Tourism sector deal: Have your say

The Government’s industrial strategy calls for sectors to pitch for a deal. The Alliance is currently working with others on a heritage sector deal.

Visit Britain has launched a consultation to support a new sector deal for tourism. The tourism deal will focus on:

• Improving productivity
• Improving infrastructure and connectivity
• How to make tourism the industry of choice for young people and develop the necessary skills base
• How to ensure that we have the right product for changing customers and continue to compete globally in a digital world
• Developing regulation that enables tourism growth.

It is important that heritage organisations feed into this work as a key part of the tourism sector.
