Fixed Term f/t (37.5 hrs pw to 31/10/21)
Close date: 24 June 2019
The National Trust are seeking an expert in Building and Landscape Design to manage change to their existing Historic Buildings, promoting sustainable alternative uses – ensuring that the essence of the places we look after is preserved, whilst bringing new life to under-utilised spaces in the National Trust estate.
An original thinker – a practical visionary who sees potential where others can’t – you’ll ensure that The National Trust’s Buildings find uses which contribute to the Trust’s work for years to come, enhancing and preserving not only the fabric of the Buildings, but the spirit of the places themselves.
Please note this is a full-time fixed-term contract for a period of 2 years.
Working within the Rural Asset Management Team, you’ll provide Expert advice on the Adaptive Re-use of existing Historic Buildings and their surroundings, using your interpretation of the Buildings and their environs to provide advice on alternatives to their current uses – including, where appropriate, the use of new build.
