Suzanne Huggett-Jones

Suzanne manages the Historic Environment Forum’s ‘Task Group 2’, a delivery and output-focussed task group working on a shared sector ‘narrative’ to support the sector’s post-Covid recovery. To do this, Suzanne draws on previously acquired stakeholder, project and programme management skills, developed during her time at some of the UK’s largest charities.

At Age UK, Suzanne oversaw numerous health and wellbeing projects, managing national volunteering, ‘dementia-friendly’ and lifestyle initiatives which directly benefited older people across the UK. Suzanne most recently worked with Cancer Research UK’s senior Policy and Influencing leadership team to ensure directorate-wide strategic goals were efficiently planned and delivered, whilst gaining invaluable insight into system-level policy change in prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Whilst seconded at Cancer Research UK. Suzanne also delivered an early diagnosis-programme which supported local GP practices to improve local screening uptake and general cancer awareness rates.
