Heather Jermy


Heather’s training and early career focussed on buildings archaeology, architecture and heritage consultancy. She helped to establish and develop the Heritage branch of the architectural practice Purcell and has previously been a regional chair of the Institute of Historic Buildings Conservation (IHBC) and a guest lecturer in design and conservation at various universities. Her passion lies in ensuring the long-term future of our built and natural heritage, which has led to her joining the National Trust.

Her current position is General Manager of the Blickling Estate, a large historic estate in Norfolk.
