Carmen Talbot


Carmen has been the Project Manager for the Heritage Alliance’s National Lottery Heritage Fund Heritage Digital project since April 2020. With extensive experience in digital projects and a passion for upskilling the sector, Carmen’s role will be to oversee over 700 heritage organisations receiving training in digital skills across four key themes (communications, rights, technology and marketing strategy).

After studying a Master’s in Heritage Management with the University of Kent/Athens University of Economics and Business joint programme, Carmen worked and freelanced in the sector for 6 years in collections and communications roles. Passionate about lesser-explored social history, she worked as Assistant Curator for Devon & Cornwall Police’s collection and archive, and as Coordinator of the Rebellious Sounds Archive oral history project in 2017-2019.
