Anna Whitelock


Professor Anna Whitelock is Head of the History Department and Deputy Head of the School of Humanities at Royal Holloway, University of London and a trustee of the Institute of Historical Research. She has worked on projects with Historic Royal Palaces, English Heritage and the National Trust and was the founding director of the London Centre for Public History and Heritage.

She is a regular media commentator on monarchy and public history and the Principal Investigator of a major AHRC grant exploring Queen Elizabeth II in the Caribbean Realms 1952-present.
