Mineral Extraction and Archaeology

April 15, 2019

Historic England have produced a publication that provides advice for managing archaeology as part of mineral development in the English planning process.

This document will update and replace the version produced in 2008 by the Minerals and Historic Environment Forum (MHEF), Minerals Extraction and Archaeology: A Practice Guide.

This consultation will be open until 12 April 2019 and all responses should be sent to governmentadvice@HistoricEngland.org.uk.
