|The current coronavirus outbreak is understandably causing concern amongst our membership and the sector more widely. We are doing everything we can to advocate on behalf of the sector at this challenging time, including through regular meetings and communications with DCMS.
We continue to update our members through regular emails with guidance and support. We have also created a live COVID-19 Guidance Hub for the wider sector, which we will continue to update as the situation develops.
During the COVID-19 crisis, Heritage Alliance Members are able to access exclusive offers and expert support, guidance and resources. If you aren’t already a member of the Heritage Alliance, you can join us today to start benefitting from these offers and join England’s largest coalition of heritage interests.
Free Fundraising Advice from Philanthropy Company
To help the heritage sector during the Coronavirus crisis, Philanthropy Company [Alliance member] is offering free ‘check in’ phone consultations over the next month for Heritage Alliance Members. During a ‘check in’ call, members will be able to share fundraising plans and concerns, and in return receive information from fundraising experts.
The Philanthropy Company’s services include strategic fundraising planning, defining vision, case for support and bid writing, researching and developing prospects, managing data, mentoring and fundraising training; they will be happy to discuss how their skills could help you raise funds in the long term.
To book your free ‘check in’ call, please contact the Heritage Alliance’s Development & Membership Manager Delphine at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Arcade Offers FREE Virtual Galleries
Arcade [Alliance member], the immersive technology specialists, are offering to create free virtual exhibitions for Heritage Alliance members.
If you’re wondering how to reach your locked-down audiences, and you have digitised artworks that are currently sitting around collecting virtual dust, the Arcade team will ‘hang’ them in a three dimensional gallery space which can be explored by virtual visitors via the internet. Using their computers, tablets, phones or even VR headsets to ‘step inside’ the gallery, users can then enjoy the exhibition from the comfort of their own homes
Arcade’s first virtual gallery with National Historic Ships UK [Alliance member] has now gone live: A Snapshot of Maritime Heritage @ The Arcade. You can find out more about their gallery below.
If you’re interested in speaking to Arcade about this offer, or to explore other digital methods of engaging audiences, please contact Delphine Jasmin-Belisle at email@example.com. Depending on the level of interest, Arcade may need to limit the number of galleries they create, so get in touch now to see if they can help!
