The RHEFs – reflecting former Government Regions - have an ongoing role, and indeed provide a degree of co-ordination for larger-than-local issues that has been lost elsewhere.
In May 2011 all nine RHEFs responded to a request by the national Forum for information about the scope and scale of their activities, summarised here
In addition to regional Heritage Counts publications these networks produce an astonishing range of resources, from heritage room hire to socio-economic impact studies.
