Engaging Places event documents now available

Following the three popular and successful Engaging Places workshop in 2013, a fourth workshop took place at The Clore Learning Centre, Kensington Palace, on Monday 14th April 2014. The well-attended event looked at how we can use heritage buildings and spaces in the classroom. This workshop was open to heritage professionals and volunteers. The workshop looked at the following areas:

  • National Curriculum Update
  • Working with Teachers
  •  Examples of best practice
  • Creating lesson plans with the new curriculum

The event also offered the opportunity to review the National Curriculum update, highlight exemptions to teaching the National Curriculum, and provide details on changes to the History Curriculum.
