Looking for ways to make the most of London 2012 and reach its diverse audiences? Launching today, the new Heritage Toolkit from The Heritage Alliance’s Cultural Olympiad project Discovering Places can help.
Discovering Places has pulled together the key projects available to historic and natural environment organisations, with the relevant information in an easy-to-digest format. The toolkit also sheds light on the many other organisations involved in London 2012.
As our Chairman Loyd Grossman commented: “London 2012 has a particular emphasis on the involvement of local communities so that people throughout the UK feel that they can participate in activities associated with the Games, and the heritage sector is ideally placed to help with this.”
From 19 March the toolkit will be available to download here. Meanwhile, the Discovering Places team will be presenting the toolkit to historic and natural environment organisations. If you’d like to discuss the opportunities on offer please contact Project Manager Claire Horan.
