The Heritage Alliance is delighted to announce that Ecclesiastical Insurance Group is sponsoring our Heritage Day on 8 December at The Banqueting House, Whitehall. Ecclesiastical provides specialist advice on insurance, valuation and risk management to the heritage and fine art sectors.
Introducing its sponsorship, Ecclesiastical said: “We are proud to sponsor The Heritage Alliance’s Heritage Day on 8 December. As a specialist insurer of historic properties and fine art, we understand how important it is to protect our national heritage and help preserve it for future generations. We strongly believe in supporting organisations and events that raise awareness about the issues around the preservation and protection of heritage and are happy to share our knowledge and expertise in this area with our customers and business partners.
As an insurer originally set up in 1887 to protect the UK’s Anglican churches, we have a long history of providing expert advice and guidance to people looking after historic buildings. Over the years, as our expertise has grown from places of worship into the areas of heritage, fine art, education, care and charity insurance, we are now well placed to offer specialist advice on insurance, risk management and valuation in all these areas.”
Heritage Day is your chance to meet colleagues from across the entire sector. The packed programme includes the AGM for members, followed by a lunchtime reception for all, a review of the year from our Chairman Loyd Grossman, an address from Secretary of State for Culture Jeremy Hunt, a Q&A session chaired by our Deputy Chair Ian Lush and the announcement of the winner of the first Heritage Alliance Hero Award. Registration will open in October – keep an eye on the website for details!
